This is a two years degree program leading to the degree of "Bachelor of Education". The course is aimed at molding the future teachers. It will enable the student - teacher to develop contextual as well as conceptual competency, to acquire basic knowledge in the use of Information & Communication Technology in education, to master the skills involved in effective teaching and to develop professional attitude towards teaching.

Course Duration: 2 Years.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with at least fifty percent (50%) marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, is eligible for admission to the program. Students Must Complete his / her Graduation with at least 50% Marks any stream or equivalent to apply for B.Ed Degree Program.
B.Ed course in an undergraduate program commonly known as Bachelors of Education. The duration of this course is generally about two years, which consists four semesters. This course is particularly opted by those who want to pursue their career in teaching and associated fields. This course can also be pursued through Weekend , Regular or non-attending which is usually about 2 years. 1st year of the non-attending course is bit prevalent for those who are not confirmed about the institute. Students from science stream are taught with the subjects like mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology. Whereas art stream students learn history, civics, economics, geography, political science and sociology. B.Ed is necessary for those who want to teach in primary schools and high schools. National council for teacher education is the constitutional body which regulates teaching courses in India.
